We're looking for a seasoned kitchen assistant to help perform cleaning, washing, and preparation duties required in the kitchen:
- Must have at least four years of relevant work experience along with at least 2 years of college experience; hospitality background preferred
- Preferably carries a Food Handler Card and preferably, an Alcohol Server Certification
- Available on a part-time basis for 4 to 6-hour shifts at least 3-4 days per week.
- Quickly learns/adjusts as needed to help keep kitchen operations productive
- Highly communicative, collaborative, transparent, and team-oriented
- Keeps kitchen in pristine clean condition, washing and sanitizing equipment and any other items used in the kitchen for food preparation; generally helps keep restaurant clean, especially in customer areas
- Operates equipment such as slicers, fryers, grills, etc.
- Prepares food (cut/chop vegetables and make patties to standard processes/procedures)
- Takes direction from managers and chefs as needed
- Has a strong track record of maintaining regular, predictable attendance and punctuality while giving enough advance notice to manager if schedules need to be adjusted (we have a tardy and no show policy)
